Chris and Debbie Nelson bought the centre in 2018. Debbie has worked in the ece industry for over 25 years.

The vision that Debbie had for the centre was to provide a beautiful homely environment for whanau and tamariki who attend to feel like part of the Stepping Stones whanau. They pride themselves on having that home away from home feel as you walk through the door.

They offer a friendly, respectful, warm and inviting environment for parents to feel at ease to leave their child there and where child love coming to Stepping Stones. The staff are friendly, open and avaliable to whanau to chat about their child's day. The teachers set up a thoughtful learning environment which has children challenging themselves at their own pace and levels of learning. We care for the children as our own and have their best interests at heart.
